KAREN TODD
Karen Todd is a Human Resources Executive and Consultant with over 18
years experience in organizations taking leading edge positions in change
management and employee engagement.
Over twelve years with a large
Canadian Bank she held a
variety of Senior HR Consulting positions operating as a strategic business
partner with the most senior leaders of many line and staff functions
including:

Karen is an expert on helping organizations implement change,
transform organizational cultures, and increase change resilience.
In her most recent corporate role as Vice President, Human Resources,
for a personal lines home and auto insurance company in Canada, Karen
transformed the HR function from a transaction oriented “personnel
function” into a value-add, strategic human resources function involved
in business performance consulting activities throughout the company.
She played a key leadership role in changing the “command and control”
culture of the organization to one of employee engagement and service
passion. Karen and her team supported managers and employees at all
levels to implement several large changes which contributed
significantly to returning the business to profitability in record time.
She also supported the organization through an acquisition.
Karen has coached hundreds of people who agree she has made a positive
difference to both their organization, and to the personal and
professional lives of individuals at all levels.

Karen holds an Honours B.A. in Political Science & Economics from York
University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto.
She lives with her three stepsons Adam, Matthew and Thomas and her
daughter Meghan. Karen recently became a grandmother when her oldest
stepson Michael, and his wife Kristi, welcomed little Emmett to their
family.
